UNDERGRADUATE THESES & PROJECT-

1. Seismograph in Pre-alarming and Preventing disasters of Earthquake 2. Recycling of Materials in Civil Engineering 3. Environmental Impact Assessment of Development Schemes baseline 4. Flood Mitigation & Management. 5. Vibration Based Inspection of Civil Engineering Structures 6. System Identification and Damage Detection in Civil 7. Kinematics and Mechanisms Design

Recognize Abstract on Earthquake in Undergraduate Thesis

Voluminous information will flow out on the network since a new preventive system for earthquake disasters outputs much of P-wave warnings and S-wave warnings by seismograph, and transmit and receive the warnings with the seismograph. Therefore, we developed a telecommunication method adaptable to the foregoing system capable of precise transmitting of warnings. Even though a multiple number of seismographs exist together, system construction technically becomes possible without any technical problems, as it does riot depend on the manufacturer for this correspondence procedure. It is conceivable that the advantage contributable to both of railway operators and seismograph manufacturers will be tremendous since such a concept will induce adequate competition among manufacturers and eventual cost saving.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My primary research ambition is to lead programs in socially relevant research that will have a positive impact on the way we take care of the environment so as to result in an improved quality of life both now and in the generations to come. I believe that the key to this is through improved earth system state and flux monitoring, prediction and reporting, in a way that is relevant to policy and decision making processes, flood and drought prediction and assessment, land and water management, national weather and climate forecasting, etc. My vision is that this goal will be realized through a combination of : i) Environmental Sensing ii) Earth System Modeling iii) Optimal Convergence of Model Predictions with observations through data assimilation

Moreover interested in :-

■ Solid Waste Management: Modeling of integrated solid waste management, Composting, Recycling ■ Water Treatment: Treatment of Surface Water using low cost technology, Development of Low-cost, User-Friendly and Effective Arsenic Treatment Units. ■ Treatment of Industrial Waste Water, Recycle, Reuse and Safe disposal of the Effluent. ■ Bioremediation of Contaminated Soil ■ Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Risk Assessment ■ Rainwater Harvesting: Collection, Storage, Quality Evaluation and Study of Social Acceptance. ■ Water and Air Pollution Control, Policy Making.
